Revalidation Pilot Launched

cannon.JPGDr Maurice Colon, National Lead on Revalidating Doctors reports: ~ Well, I can tell you, we are all having a spiffing time down here at Revalidation Central.

Some people say we haven’t got a clue what were talking about, let alone doing. Well, I can assure you nothing could be further from the truth. It’s a man’s life here at Revalidation Central – no namby-pambys allowed. You might say you have to have balls to join our crack team. And that means we know what we’re doing.

Just last week we went round to our local NHS trust, and invited them to join in the fun. A few brave souls stepped forward, and we loaded them into The Revalidator – our Quality Assured, absolutely no doubt about it fit for purpose revalidation tool – and, as we chaps like to say, pulled the lever. As you can see, it was a flying success.

Unfortunately, although The Revalidator works like a charm, our volunteers did not fare so well. One got jammed in the machine, and had to be reamed out – messy business all round. Two disintegrated in mid-air, and the rest broke up on landing. Shame, but that’s what happens when you let wrong kind of people get to be doctors. They just don’t have the back-bone for it these days. Not like us stout chaps at Revalidation Central.

Toodle-pip until next time!
